Have you ever thought making money on Facebook?

What a great idea!  Millions and millions of people use facebook every single day. It has been part of our life today. I use it, you use it, that man outside uses it.. everybody does!  Using facebook has many pros. You can communicate with friends, you can find lost friends, play games, post your favorite songs, see what other people do, see what other people think, many people even stopped talking to the phone–they use facebook! A great community! Can a great community be without a market? Of course not!  Facebook has its marketplace too!

And what does it do?

-Have you ever heard of eBay? Of course you have! That site where you can buy and sell different items to users around the world.  Many people on eBay make money!  Well, Facebook Marketplace isn’t much different! You can post your items you want to sell, set up a price, write a description, and there you go! Other users, such as you, will see the item that is being sold and will bid on it.  Whatever you post for selling automatically goes to all you friends you have in facebook, and more than that, users from your facebook network see it too, also friends of friends see it!  I believe you have more chances to sell something to your friends and your network than you have at eBay, especially when you use facebook where millions of people are online everyday!


Steps to set up Facebook Marketplace

1)  Login on your profile.
2) On the left side, click Applications.
3) If it’s not on one of your applications, on the bottom click Applications Directory.
4) On the top left of the page search Marketplace.
5) As the list appears, the first application on top should say Marketplace, Buy, sell, and trade with your Friends, Friends-of-Friends, and the Facebook Community. Click on that and install Facebook Marketplace on your profile.
6) After the installation is complete it will take you to the Marketplace’s site on facebook.  You have to register so follow the directions it asks. It doesn’t ask too much, just your name, e-mail, and a password.
7) After registration is complete the Marketplace will open.  You should start seeing what your friends sell.  Go ahead and search your friend’s listings to see if you want to buy something.
8) Final Step, Click on top Post a Listing, you will get the idea. Post your item, set up a price, and upload some pictures of it.  Postings usually expire after 1 month.
